Cold Sore Cure
By Denny Bodoh
Trying to find that elusive
cold sore cure
is quite frustrating, to say the least. Is there even such a thing?
You probably have seen some web sites claim they have a magical
cold sore cure
in a bottle (for a hefty price too). Before spending another dime, let us shed
some light on this controversial topic.
Quite likely, you have read by now that most medical professionals will tell you
there is no
cold sore cure. They are referring to
the fact that there is no pharmaceutical product or vaccine breakthrough capable
of removing this virus from your body, or stopping the spread of it.
They are correct.
No known
cold sore treatment - medical or natural - will eliminate this type of
herpes virus from your body. It is extremely tough and elusive.
The
cold sore virus hides so well within your nerve cells that even your
immune system antibodies cannot locate it.
A
cold sore cure
that eliminates the virus would be quite a blessing indeed. Scientists are
working on it, but there is no indication of any breakthrough in the near
future.
However, who really cares if we carry the
cold sore virus or not?
After all, every person on earth, every single day, carries many viruses,
bacteria and germs. That is the nature of our existence. Fact is, scientists
claim that most people have cancer cells at any given moment but our immune
system protects us from them - as it does with most other diseases. (Read
What is a Cold Sore for further clarification}
What is most important - what we truly care about - is not getting sick at all.
Any treatment that can eliminate
cold sore symptoms and prevent them from happening in the first place
certainly is a perfect
cold sore cure.
A doctor will diagnose you as having a disease, based on the symptoms you
display. When he is able to remove these symptoms - when you are symptom free -
he will declare you cured of that disease. By this definition, used by the
medical community every day, I maintain that a cold sore cure can be
quite real.
Until there is a medical breakthrough, your best bets are solutions from
nature.
Fact is, if drug companies came up with synthetic cold sore remedies that
work as well as some natural treatments, they would not hesitate to brand them
as cold sore cures - with the blessing of FDA and the medical community.
Eventually the medical scientists will come up with a solution, as we did for
the poliovirus back in the 1950's. What a great discovery that was.
In the mean time, you do not need to suffer.
Nature has provided some great
cold sore home remedies. They are so cheap, simple and effective that
you will wonder what all the fuss is about.
Please use caution, however.
There are those who will try to sell you a single cold sore cure in a
bottle. They may be good, or may not, but will not likely be the total answer
you are looking for.
The point is, the key to success with
cold sores is
to develop a
cold sore treatment plan that is a combination of external and internal
remedies. Usually one remedy, by itself, will not add up to the cure you want.
It is not difficult to develop your own cold sore cure strategy.
You do this by trying different remedies and keeping the ones that work best for
you. (They do not work the same for everybody because we all have different
needs and triggers.) The information provided throughout this web site will
quickly help you toward this goal.
Your most effective plan must contain both topical and internal remedies.
Topical
cold sore remedies are the best for quickly eliminating current
symptoms. Internal remedies help with this process also, but are essential for
actually curing you of getting future outbreaks - which is our ultimate goal.
Look for a complete treatment plan, not a single product or remedy, if you are
serious about finding a real cold sore cure.
